POWERGRID, the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of India and a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India is engaged in power transmission business with the mandate for planning, co-ordination, supervision and control over complete inter-State transmission system and operation of National & Regional Power Grids.

Power Grid to Recruit through GATE 2013 for details

Important Points:

• Selection through GATE 2013 marks, GD and interview. Candidates to give GATE in EE.
• 85% weightage to GATE Score in the selection process.
• CTC 12.67 Lakhs after training. 7 Lakhs during training.
• Upper Age limit - 28 years
• Eligibility - Full time BE.BTech in Electrical/ Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering.

Selection Process: Selection process will comprise fo GATE 2013 score of the candidates in the concerned disciplines & performance in Interview

• The selection process will include the marks obtained (Out of 100) by the eligible candidates in the EE paper of GATE 2013, followed by group discussion and personal interview of the candidates who qualify in the GATE paper and have been shortlisted category wise for the GD and interview.
  

Pay Scale :

Engineer Trainees in the of Scale of pay of Rs. 24900-50500
During Training	Rs. 7 lakhs per annum
After Training	Rs. 12.67 lakhs per annum
