Maharashtra MAH MCA-CET 2010 on 7th March 2010 MCA Common Entrance Test

MCA-CET 2011 written entrance test on 6th March 2011 (Sunday)
Basic Qualification: In order to secure admission to first year of three-year full time MCA course, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria;Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination. OR

Appeared for the final year examination
of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher levelexamination. OR

Passed with any Bachelor’s degree
of minimum three years duration in any discipline AND passed in any Post Graduate degree course of minimum two years duration recognized by the Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher levelexamination. OR

Passed with any Bachelor’s degree
of minimum three years duration in any discipline AND Appeared for the final year examination of any Post Graduate degree of minimum two years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Post Graduate Degree exam with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) and having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher levelexamination.”
Online submission of the “MAH MCA CET Application Form” through computer connected to Internet on the website www.dte.org.in/mca for Maharashtra State / OMS/ JK candidates and receipt of the Hall Ticket for the MAH-MCA-CET 2011

How To Apply


Information brochure alongwith the application kit for the aspiring candidates will be available at the select post offices mentioned below only during working hours of the respective post offices from 07th February, 2011 to 18th February, 2011 (excluding public holidays) against the payment of the application form processing fees
It is mandatory to procure the information brochure and go through it carefully
The CET that will be conducted in pursuance of this advertisement is subject to the rules and regulations set out in this information brochure
The further admission process, especially in respect of Private Unaided Institutes will be in terms of the clarification read with aforesaid rules and regulations
Submission of the application form in response to this notification will amount to accepting the afore said rules and regulations unequivocally by the applicant and upon such submission it will be presumed that the applicant agrees and accepts these rules and regulations as legal, valid and correct. It will not be open for any applicant, once having submitted the application form to question the legality, validity and correctness of these rules and regulations
The centralized admission process will consist of first 2 rounds of allotment and the third (i.e. last) round of counseling
Candidates are instructed to carefully read the Annexure-I of the information brochure to understand the eligibility criteria for participating in each round
Application form processing fees as stated below is to be paid at the identified post offices, in cash only. No other mode of payment shall be permitted
For open category candidates from Maharashtra state, outside Maharashtra state (OMS), JK migrant candidates and NRI/foreign national/foreign students/PIO/children of Indian workers in the gulf countries candidates Rs 750/-
For candidates of backward class categories SC/ST/VJDT NT (A)/NT (B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/OBC/SBC belonging to Maharashtra state only Rs 550/-
Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates who wish to apply against JK migrant quota and also against OMS quota are required to pay total fee of Rs 1500/- (two separate receipts of Rs 750/- each). Such candidates will be required to register as both JK and OMS candidate and one hall ticket will be generated after confirmation of online application form
This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances

Submission and confirmation of online application form: Aspiring candidates will be able to submit and confirm the online application form through the website www.dte.org.in/mca through any computer connected to Internet
For the submission and confirmation of the online application form the candidates are required to use the application ID and password provided in the application kit. Candidates are also required to upload his/her photo with signature as per the instructions given in the application kit. Candidates are advised to preserve the application kit carefully and not to disclose the application ID and password to others to avoid impersonation
In order to take the printout of the online submitted application form and the printout of the hall ticket for the CET, it is mandatory for all the candidates to confirm the online submitted application form and such confirmed applications only will be considered valid for further processing
Applications sent by post/courier etc to ARCs/DTE office will be rejected and no communication in this regard will be done with the candidates
It should be noted that no documents are required to be submitted at this stage. Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of document verification stage scheduled in the month of May/June 2011

Date and timing of MAH-MCA-CET 2011: 06th March, 2011, Sunday (2.00 p.m.)
Declaration of results of the MAH-MCA-CET 2011 on the website www.dte.org.in/mca: 08th April, 2011 (5.00 p.m.)
Document verification, updation and confirmation of application form for CAP at ARC for Maharashtra state/OMS/JK candidates: 23rd May, 2011 to 03rd June, 2011 (till 5.00 p.m.)
Display of the provisional merit lists (Maharashtra state, OMS and JK candidates) on the website www.dte.org.in/mca: 04th June, 2011 (5.00 p.m.)
Submission of grievance applications of Maharashtra, and OMS candidates, if any, at respective ARC: 06th June, 2011 to 08th June, 2011 (till 5.00 p.m.)
Display of the final merit lists (Maharashtra state, OMS and JK candidates) on website www.dte.org.in/mca: 14th June, 2011 (5.00 p.m.)
Late submission and confirmation of online application form: Candidates who have failed to procure information brochure along with application kit, submit and confirm the online application form on or before 18th February, 2011 will be able to procure, submit and confirm the online application form at following office by paying additional late fees of Rs 1000/- (Rs one thousand only) in cash only on 21st February, 2011 (between 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.) at the following address
